Modern computers are electronic and digital devices. Figure 1-1 shows the basic organization of a personal computer, Figure 1-2 shows a notebook computer.
Figure 1-3~ Figure 1-8 show some of the internal devices of a computer. They usually can’t be seen, because they are in a box. Let’s take a look at them.
Figure 1-9 shows the power supply. Figure 1-10 shows a DVD-player, it is one of the multimedia devices.
Figure 1-11 shows two important input devices. They are mouse and keyboard.
These are simple introductions of the computer system and the components of a computer. More detailed introductions will be included in other units of this book.
