5.2　Power Supply Zoning

5.2.1　HV and MV distribution networks shall be reasonably zoned.

5.2.2　HV distribution networks shall be zoned according to such factors as city size，planned layout，population density，load density and characteristics.In medium-sized cities，HV distribution networks should be classified as downtown zone，ordinary zone and industrial park，while in large cites and metropolises downtown zone，ordinary zone，suburban zone and industrial park.Network connection mode and equipment should be selected according to different zones.

5.2.3　MV distribution networks should be zoned according to locations of power sources.Their zoning shall faciliate power supply and distribution management，and avoid overlapping among different zones.When a new power source is connected，the already existing zones should be properly adjusted.Neighboring zones shall be provided with chanels which can be used to transfer loads.
