Abstract

Abstract： This book is based on the information database of “Belt and Road”，focused on analyzing Armenian geopolitics and offering some references on enhancing the cooperation between China and Armenia under the “Belt and Road”Initiative.There are five parts.First，introducing the basic information of Armenia.Second，describing thehistory，cultural and national identity，and unique religion of Armenia.Third，analyzing developing situation of Armenia since its independence，including economic transformation，participating regional economic integration （Eurasian Economic Union），post-communist movement，population problems and ethnic group overseas.Fourth，discussing the geostrategic security of Armenia，including the domestic political conditions after “Velvet Revolution”，the complicated situation in the games between Russia and the USA，the rivalry against Turkey on the “Armenian Genocide”and the military conflict against Azerbaijan on territorial issues.Fifth，analyzing the position and prospect of Armenia in the “Belt and Road”Initiative.The methodologies are mainly literature analysis，data analysis and comparative analysis.
