Configuring the Siebel Gateway Name Server

As described in Chapter 3, a Siebel Gateway Name Server must be fully installed, configured, and operational in order to carry out any other task in the process of setting up a Siebel Enterprise Server.

After we have successfully installed the Siebel Gateway Name Server software, we launch the Software Configuration Wizard by using the start menu shortcut labelled Siebel Enterprise Configuration. Another option is to continue using the Configuration Wizard when it is automatically launched at installation time.
